This was one of the most challenging and interesting projects we have faced. The client came to us as one of the most reputable social media management developers with a solution he had developed in the past with a friend. It was a Twitter tool that became popular and handled thousands of paying customers. The initial goal was to update it with several new features,but once we started more changes were applied along with a UI redesign. The second version was released as a much more advanced tool with many unique capabilities.
Working with established businesses is completely different experience than launching startups as we mainly did before. This service was already used by thousands of customers, so the new version had to meet their expectations. It required the same user experience but with a lot of new functions and a modern interface. We also had to develop a very strong back-end system to migrate all data to a new service and handle increased amount of requests after the launch.
One of the features we created was automated scheduling of content across various profiles (Jukeboxes) and social accounts of the user. There was a very sophisticated algorithm created to provide the best possible efficiency of time spots usage while also considering all restrictions of social APIs.
Our engineers were able to work effectively with the previous code, and the new system we developed helped customer to increase all KPIs. While working on new features there were a lot of improvements added to the existing system. Code refactoring was performed which helpedsave a lot of time when working on subsequent versions of the software.
